Portugal has some of the most breathtaking, picture worthy sceneries in the world.
The beauty of our Landscapes seems to have caught on with the executives and marketeers of some of the biggest technology companies. This past September, Apple, in the presentation of its new iPhone line, showed to the thousands at the event and the millions who followed through their screens, a photo which featured the 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon as background.
Last week it was the turn of another Silicon Valley giant, Google, to feature Portuguese sceneries on promotional material for their new flagships. The new smartphones shown to the press came with a stunning picture of a beach in the Algarve, the Barranco do Martinho beach in Lagos, as a lock screen.
The frequent usage of Portuguese landscapes at events like these reinforces the popularity that Portugal has recently garnered as a world class touristic destination. This Broadcasting of our country’s beauty will certainly entice even more tourists, including many Saudis, to come visit us.
